Young People Reached*
Dreams Rescue Foundation (DREF) Uganda is a national non-governmental organization founded in 2018 and working across Uganda, with strong roots in Kwania District. We focus on children and youth, especially girls affected by child marriage, teenage pregnancy, and harmful social norms. Through education, SRHR, livelihoods, child protection and advocacy, we help young people move from self-pity and poverty to dignity, confidence and opportunity.
We work closely with adolescents, parents, teachers, health workers and local leaders to co-create solutions that are inclusive, gender-responsive and sustainable.
Our mission is to inspire young people to challenge harmful norms, acquire skills and live productive lives through transformative education, SRHR, livelihoods and child protection interventions.
Help us provide school support, mentorship and safe spaces for girls at risk of child marriage and teenage pregnancy, so they can complete their education and pursue their dreams.

Our mission is “to inspire young people to challenge harmful norms, acquire skills and live productive life”. DREF Uganda works with adolescents and youth, especially girls, to improve their access to education, SRHR, child protection, economic empowerment, advocacy, climate resilience and social behavior change.
DREF Uganda uses proven models that put young people at the center while actively involving parents, caregivers, teachers, health workers and local leaders in Kwania District and beyond.
We envision a community where young people, especially girls, are free from harmful practices and empowered to live safe, healthy and dignified lives. Every child and youth is equipped with knowledge, skills and support to rise above adversity and actively shape their own future.
DREF Uganda focuses on thematic areas that respond to the real needs of children and young people, especially girls, while strengthening systems around them.
