Empowering children and young people—especially girls—to live safe, healthy, dignified and productive lives.
Founded
Dreams Rescue Foundation (DREF) Uganda is a national non-governmental organization founded in 2018 and based in Uganda, with strong roots in Kwania District. We work with children, adolescents and youth—especially girls—who are affected by child marriage, teenage pregnancy, gender-based violence and harmful social norms. Through education support, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), child protection, youth economic empowerment and community advocacy, we help young people move from vulnerability to opportunity.
To inspire young people to challenge harmful norms, acquire skills and live productive life.
A community where young people, especially girls, are free from harmful practices and empowered to thrive.
