Dreams Rescue Foundation

(DREF) Uganda

Dreams Rescue Foundation (DREF) Uganda is a national non-governmental organization founded in 2018 and based in Uganda, with strong roots in Kwania District. We work with children, adolescents and youth—especially girls—who are affected by child marriage, teenage pregnancy, gender-based violence and harmful social norms. Through education support, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), child protection, youth economic empowerment and community advocacy, we help young people move from vulnerability to opportunity.

Inspiring Young People to Live Productive Lives

Our mission is to inspire young people to challenge harmful norms, acquire skills and live productive life. We focus on adolescents and youth, especially girls, affected by child marriage, teenage pregnancy and gender-based violence.

  • Peer Navigation Model: peers guide adolescents at health facilities for youth-friendly SRHR services.
